Enet is Ireland's largest, open access network provider, building and operating the largest alternative wholesale telecoms network in Ireland.

As the Account Director at Enet, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic wholesale accounts, retaining existing business, developing high-level business opportunities through excellent customer relationship management skills and detailed account development planning. A key part of your role will be developing strong working relationships with clients and contributing to the overall success of our telecoms services.

We operate a hybrid working model, with office attendance required 2 days per week. Candidate can be based in Limerick or Dublin. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic account plans for a portfolio of high-value wholesale telecom customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends and customer needs.
- Lead complex negotiations and close high-value deals with C-level executives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of customer solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assertively plan and execute the monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets.
- Learn and master the Enet services, products and benefits to deliver growth from the client base.
- Develop and maintain pipeline, growth and new client opportunities in Enet's sales CRM.
- Ensure all sales orders meet Enet finance and sales management requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum 9 years of experience in wholesale telecom account management or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience in wholesale voice and broadband an advantage.
- Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts in the telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of telecom products, services, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in developing and presenting business cases to senior executives.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to delegate tasks & give clear instructions when required.
