The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is looking for a Senior Grid Strategy Manager to own setting the strategic direction regarding where we locate, how we interconnect, and how we operate our fleet of data centers across the power grids on which we depend. If you like to leverage your technical expertise to analyze, develop, and implement business, supply chain, and operational strategies in partnership with our internal and external partner teams and organizations, we'd like to meet you. Your work in grid strategy will ensure that access to secure, resilient, and scalable power is maintained to not constrain AWS business growth for our customers.

By delivering on the strategies you develop, you will enable scalable future growth to support the expansion of AWS Cloud, enabling our customers to innovate faster.

In conjunction with partner teams, the successful candidate will cultivate business and technical relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including grid and electricity utilities, supply chain partners, regulators, and policymakers to ensure that power and grid infrastructure can be delivered in a timely and economic manner to support AWS's EMEA infrastructure expansion.

3. You will identify opportunities for AWS to stimulate the transition to cleaner power grids in delivery of growth to support our customers across EMEA.
4. You will identify and develop cost-saving projects and initiatives related to grid and network infrastructure.
5. You will collaborate with electricity utilities and other external stakeholders to develop strategies that support AWS's expansion in EMEA.
6. You will develop and execute strategies that leverage capital projects (utility grid connections, HV substations, energy storage, etc.) to accelerate delivery of power capacity and optimize total cost of ownership.
7. You will work with AWS's Public Policy team to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
