**The role is offered as hybrid with 2 days / week onsite in our Sandyford office.****Overseas travels twice per year.****We are looking for ou****r future Principal Software Engineer** **to join our Product Development team in Dublin.****Let’s talk about the role:**As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and performant systems across multiple products and business domains. This role is ideal for an experienced technical leader with deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment. or architecture experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or staff/lead architect role.- Deep experience architecting and building **enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions**. Demonstrated ability to design robust, performant solutions for mission-critical workloads, leveraging modern cloud-native patterns. Adept at driving initiatives from concept to delivery in environments that demand reliability and scalability.- Strong programming skills in **Python and/or Java**.- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability in cloud ecosystems.Prior experience working with healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) in a regulated environment (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
