Reliability Engineer II

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Maintenance/Reliability Engineer to join the site engineering team of a leading biopharmaceutical company in Ballydine, Tipperary In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that Maintenance Systems are implemented and maintained effectively, meeting best practices and compliance requirements.
We're looking for someone who can bring energy, innovation, and technical expertise to the following responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with capital projects teams to implement and manage Maintenance Systems for new facilities and installations at the site. This includes equipment registration, preventative maintenance and calibration routines, condition monitoring, spares management within the CMMS, and engineering handover documentation.
- Develop and manage regulatory inspection programs, including Pressure, Lifting, and F-Gas Systems.
- Update and create Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
To thrive in this role, you will likely have the following qualifications and experience:
- A 3rd-level qualification in a technical discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in maintenance/facilities.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems (SAP & Procal) with experience in system implementation.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role, preferably in a manufacturing or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
- Solid understanding of World Class Maintenance & Calibration practices, including condition monitoring technologies and strategies.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems and work practices in both electrical/instrumentation and mechanical crafts.
- Strong technical writing skills for developing preventative maintenance (PM) and calibration routines.
- Knowledge of relevant Irish, European, and international codes, standards, and practices.
- An analytical mindset, data-driven approach, and a keen eye for detail when managing systems.
