Join a Leading International Organisation as a Group Accountant – Bray (Hybrid)

Are you a recently qualified accountant looking to make your first move from practice into industry? This is an exclusive opportunity to join a global, publicly listed company as a Group Accountant, where you'll gain hands-on exposure to group consolidations, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.
This role is ideal for someone coming from a Big 4 or Top 6 firm with experience auditing listed clients. You'll work closely with a high-calibre finance team, with support and mentoring from senior leadership. The Role:

As Group Accountant, you'll be a key link between the onshore finance function and an experienced offshore team. You'll play a crucial role in group-level consolidation, technical accounting matters, audit prep, and finance transformation projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the monthly group consolidation and close process under IFRS
Acting as the bridge between onshore finance and the offshore team in India
Assisting with technical accounting areas including IFRS 2 (Share-Based Payments), IFRS 16 (Leases), and complex debt instruments
Supporting both internal and external audit processes
Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and Group accounting policies
Providing backup for key offshore processes when needed
Contributing to finance transformation and system/process improvement projects

What You'll Bring:

ACA-qualified (or equivalent), ideally Big 4 or Top 6 trained
1–2 years' PQE, ideally with PLC or group audit experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and understanding of SOX requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently
Experience with ERP or consolidation systems
Previous in-house experience in a listed group finance environment
