Member of the Board of Directors- South Leinster Citizens Information Service South Leinster Citizens Information Service (SLCIS) CLG is a regional non-profit organisation providing free, impartial, and confidential information, advice, and advocacy services across Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, and Wicklow .
Our vision is a society where everybody can freely access the information, advice and advocacy they require to secure their rights and entitlements. SLCIS empowers people to make informed decisions that enable them to access the services they need, particularly those most vulnerable or marginalised in society.
The South Leinster Citizens Information Service invites expressions of interest for appointment as a member of the Board of Directors (1 Vacancy)
Role Purpose
As a Board Director, you will contribute your expertise to the strategic governance and leadership of SLCIS. You will ensure that the organisation delivers high-quality services, operates to the highest standards of governance, and meets its obligations under its Service Level Agreement with the Citizens Information Board.
Board members are expected to contribute to strategic decision-making, oversight of risk and finances, policy development, and the ongoing effectiveness and accountability of the organisation.
The board is seeking to recruit 1 member to join our Board, which is made up of committed, experienced volunteers from across the voluntary, community and Public Sectors.

These are voluntary Boards and while no fees will be paid to Board members, travel and subsistence expenses will be paid when applicable.
