
Avionics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Ryanair as we plan to expand our fleet to 800 aircraft and serve 300 million guests within the next 10 years.
Reporting to the Avionics Manager and Deputy Director of Technical Services, you will be responsible for creating and issuing engineering orders, preparing technical reports on issues such as incidents and significant defects, and liaising with Boeing and equipment manufacturers to resolve technical problems.
The Technical Services Avionics Engineer will work within a dedicated team and support in areas including:
- Reviewing Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives in detail;
- Providing troubleshooting support to Maintrol, Base Maintenance, and Line Maintenance;
- Creating design modifications supporting Ryanair's Part 21 DOA;
- Supporting the Reliability section in identifying and resolving repetitive failures across the fleet;
- Generating and editing operator documents such as MEL, Tech Notices, and Procedures Notices;
- Supporting aircraft lease returns related to avionics issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an airline's Tech Services or line maintenance with strong avionics input;
- Aeronautical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering Degree or B2 license;
- Excellent technical knowledge of primarily the A320 and B737 aircrafts;
- Flexible approach with a focus on project delivery;
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and electronically;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team;
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and ability to meet tight deadlines;
