Responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting and resolving complex network faults in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
- Taking the lead during critical incidents and contributing to BAU, problem resolution, and deep-dive performance investigations.
- Playing a key role in preventive maintenance, software upgrades, failover testing, and the ongoing optimization of the IP network.
- Collaborating with Design, Performance, and Vendor teams to deploy secure, scalable, and future-ready network solutions.
- Supporting major projects from operational readiness to acceptance into service, while ensuring high-quality documentation and monitoring practices.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- 4+ years’ experience in a Telco/Service Provider environment
- Strong Cisco/Juniper knowledge with LAN, WAN, VXLAN, SDWAN, and Wireless tech experience
- Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, QoS, VoIP, etc.
- Experience in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Load Balancing, and Cloud (AWS/Azure) technologies
- Scripting know-how (Python/API/Ansible) and strong configuration management skills
- CCNP or equivalent certification essential
- A team player with a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and customer-first thinking

Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with ITIL practices, and experience in ORRs, decommissioning activities, and vendor engagement.

- £250 Per Day - £300 Per Day
