The IT Support Engineer role for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to deliver innovative hybrid solutions and technologies and provide IT support to our sites in Ireland. This position is part of the Ireland IT Site Support Team located in Clare, Ireland and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Install, configure, deploy, and maintain PC hardware, MS operating systems and software. Provide remote (phone, email/instant messaging) and hands on user support for desktops, laptops, printers and audiovisual equipment. Support local manufacturing and lab equipment and systems. Drive Digital Transformation using Automation tools. Guide decisions and determine best approaches to implement technical solutions end to end. Contribute on local, regional and global projects The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors degree in IT field with 2+ years experience OR Masters degree in field with 0-2 years experience. You are very interested in direct customer contact and in successfully solving simple & complex IT problems in partnership with global IT colleagues in a varied working day. You bring a high degree of independence with you and are used to acting on your own responsibility as well as working together with many different colleagues in a global organization. Fast learner with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Functional experience in Medical DX/LS Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial environments Experience with Intune, Autopilot and O365/Entra administration Experience with Data Analytics including PowerBI Exposure to Industry 4.0 strategy , IoT, MES, LIMs, OT Network Benefits: Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care Performance Bonus
