SIVUH is the regional center for ENT, Dermatology, Elective Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology & Chronic Pain services and provides a significant role in the provision of Oncology, General Surgery, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Elective Gynaecology, Radiology and Anesthesiology services. SIVUH is a teaching hospital and affiliated with the Medical, Nursing and Health & Social Care Professional disciplines in University College Cork and has developed key relationships in terms of training with many other educational sites both nationally and locally.
