Job type: Full time, permanent. Salary: From €91,190 per annum. Location: Dublin, South Dublin Orange Recruitment is seeking experienced and skilled Senior Psychologists to join various teams in Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert psychological services, support interdisciplinary teams, and lead the development of psychological interventions across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and community services. As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing mental health outcomes, conducting assessments of need, providing therapeutic interventions, and supervising junior staff. Qualifications and essential experience: A PhD or Master's Degree in Psychology (or equivalent) from recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Hold full registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or be eligible for registration with PSI. At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in psychology, with significant experience in clinical practice, including therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments. Expertise in at least one specialized area of psychology (e.g., child/adolescent psychology, adult mental health, neuropsychology, etc.). Experience in a senior position, supervising and mentoring junior staff. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of ethical practices and confidentiality in psychological services. Proven ability to manage complex and challenging caseloads in both individual and group settings. Proficiency in relevant psychological tools and assessment instruments as required. Desirable Skills & Experience: Additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR). Experience working within healthcare or educational settings. Research experience or involvement in academic publication. Familiarity with the Irish mental health system and relevant policies.
