Job Title: Temporary Medical Scientist (Microbiology)

Responsibilities

- Conduct microbiological testing and analysis on clinical specimens.

- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.

- Accurately document and interpret test results, maintaining detailed records.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic support.

- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.

- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.

- CORU registration.

- Proven experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory setting.

- Proficiency in microbiological techniques and the operation of laboratory equipment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
