One of Cork’s leading multi-national food companies are currently recruiting for a Factory/industrial Electrician for a shift-based role.
This perm job offers an excellent hourly rate and benefits package including a generous shift allowance i.e. 2 Shift 20%, 3 Shift 25%, 4 Shift 33.3% & pension, life assurance, 23 days AL & a subsidized canteen

YOUR NEW JOB

Day to day some of the key elements of the Factory Electrician role will include:
Machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving
Building & equipment repair
preventive maintenance
Electrical Troubleshooting
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Maintains records of scheduled maintenance and recording the data
Reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

You’ll need to have completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship and have 3- 5 years post apprenticeship experience within a high volume production facility.
You will definitely need to be experienced in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and you must be flexible to work different shifts depending on the needs of the business (generous shift allowance available)
