Community Clinical Nurse Manager – Paediatrics

Overview
TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Community Clinical Nurse Manager on behalf of a paediatric home care service provider.
The Nurse Manager will have oversight over the following counties
Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon and Galway.
This is a permanent contract working 39 hours per week with the opportunity to perform their admin work from home. This role comes with a lot of autonomy where the nurse manager can run their own week.
Duties
Duties include care plans, PPE drops to families, assessments, training & mentorship, introductions and build relationship with families and staff nurses and build out service needs from tenders. The successful candidate will be fully supported by an operations and hr team who will deal with rostering etc. This role is mostly a clinical support role. Requirements
- Exhibits a passion for nursing, pursues continuous improvement, and advocates for patients’ and nurses’ viewpoints
- BSC in Children’s Nursing; RGN’s with significant Paediatric experience may also be considered.
- Community and paediatrics experience essential along with NMBI registration.
- Excellent IT and Microsoft packages such as word and excel essential.
- Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or business would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to manage a caseload of clients and corresponding staff and a high degree of self-motivation.
- Attention to detail, having a systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to liaise with persons of all levels of nursing to coordinate patient services
