Job Title: Social Care Leader Childrens Residential Service We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Care Leader to join our team and lead our childrens residential service. As a Social Care Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children in need of a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and management to a team of social care workers. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each child Support and guide the team in delivering person-centred care and support. Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion within the residential service. Collaborate with external agencies, families, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care practices and implement improvements when necessary. Maintain accurate records, including assessments, progress reports, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Qualifications: Degree in Social Work, Social Care, or a related field (or equivalent qualification) Two or more years experience working in a childrens residential service including experience in a key working role. Sound knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding procedures Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
