Refrigeration Engineer
County Down
£35k - £40k overtime & Van (more on this below)

Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of the UK and Ireland's largest food manufacturing firms to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer to cover their customer sites across County Down.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Service and maintain/repair existing equipment in a timely manner.
- Installation of new/existing tanks and associated dairy equipment.
- Responsible for running and maintenance of vehicle, including associated start-up checks.
- Adhere to the company's health, safety, environmental, and personal standards policies.
- Ensure accurate and full record keeping of all work carried out.
- Care for tools and equipment provided, ensuring that upon completion of a task, the equipment and/or work area is left in a clean and safe condition.
- Work as part of an inter-dependent team with flexibility to take on all other reasonable tasks, including availability for emergency breakdown cover and rota for weekend and evening repair work as required.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, ideally you will have:

- Refrigeration or electrical engineering experience.
- Willingness to work flexible hours on occasions, such as on-call rota.
- A clean driving license.
