Rigid Driver in the Hospitality Industry

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced driver who values stability, professional growth, and consistent work in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily multi-drop deliveries to clients within the hospitality industry with accurate, timely results and excellent customer service standards.
  • Safely operate a rigid vehicle in compliance with road safety laws and company policies.
  • Complete pre-departure vehicle checks, ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, load and unload stock safely, and secure all goods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Manage delivery documentation including proof of delivery and route sheets, communicate effectively with warehouse teams and dispatch to resolve delivery issues, and report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery discrepancies promptly.
  • Uphold professional presentation and maintain a positive company image at all times while adhering to all health and safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving.
Requirements
  • Full, clean Category C (Rigid) Driving Licence is essential.
  • Up-to-date CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph Card are required.
  • A strong knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas, excellent time management and route planning abilities, strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour, good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading duties, ability to work independently while following scheduled routes and instructions, and strong communication skills for liaising with clients and operations teams are necessary.
