Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
All participants within the centre must be willing to work within the aims, values and principles of the Farranree Preschool.
The participant will provide for the wellbeing and educational needs of the children and provide a secure and clean environment.
The participant must be a good time keeper, report to the manager/ team leaders about any incidents/ concerns; require good communication skills when dealing with parents /children and staff; will be child centred in their approach and adhere to the code of behaviour and treat all with dignity and respect.
Suitable validated references and completed Garda Vetting and international police clearance (where necessary) applies prior to starting.
