Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director - Project Management with a strong background in data to oversee the delivery of projects related to our data initiatives. This full-time role will focus on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while leveraging data knowledge to drive project success. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, project management, or data management.
- At least 10 years of project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of data principles, data modelling, and data integration.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, monitor and control project progress, and identify and mitigate risks.
- Previous experience managing complex data initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data management.
- Strong understanding of data and software development lifecycles, kanban/agile sprint methodologies, etc.
- PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.

What is your role and your responsibilities?

- Develop and lead project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, with a focus on data-related projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensure the integrity, efficiency, and security of data systems within project scope.
- Oversee the development of data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration processes as part of project deliverables.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
- Monitor and control project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Report on project progress and status to senior management.

What Competencies do you require?

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make informed decisions within financial environments such as fund management, asset management, and related industries.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner within financial environments such as fund management, asset management, and related industries.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of business analysts within financial environments such as fund management, asset management, and related industries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization within financial environments such as fund management, asset management, and related industries
