Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Engineer with AirconMech , your key responsibilities will include:
Reading and interpreting drawings for layouts and materials required throughout various construction phases.
Liaising with internal teams and external client teams, including consultants, structural engineers, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and supply chains to coordinate services efficiently and accurately in line with the project programme.
Regularly attend project and technical meetings.
Completing O&M manuals promptly.
Managing sub-contractors and the general workforce onsite.
Managing suppliers and manufacturers to ensure materials are delivered on time and to the required standard.
Planning works efficiently to ensure project targets are achieved.
Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest health, safety, and quality standards.
Experience Required
Eligibility Criteria/ Qualifications and/or Experience To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following attributes:
Relevant Building Services/Mechanical Engineering degree.
HVAC experience is desirable.
BIM/CAD experience is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience (placement or internship) with a mechanical contractor or relevant industry supplier is a distinct advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Ability to work as part of a team as well, as using their initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate practical solutions.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
