About the role
As part of the Valaston audit team, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting high-quality audit engagements from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in audit preparation through research, documentation, and meeting coordination
Apply audit standards, policies and regulations to provide timely audit assurance outputs
Preparing and maintaining audit workpapers to support audit reports
Conducting process walkthroughs, documenting narratives, and testing key controls
Participating in client calls and gaining direct client exposure
Following audit procedures in line with professional and regulatory standards
About you
A higher education or university degree (or are currently studying) in accountancy
0 – 3 years relevant work experience (preferably within accountancy)
An appetite for learning about judgement, risk, policy and business practices
A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
Effective and demonstrable team working skills
