Tendermeats Ltd. are a meat processing plant loacted in Clondalkin, Dublin 22. We are looking to hire a person with experience in Maintenance or as a mechanic who will work with the maintenance team in all aspects of equipment and plant maintenance, technical support and process improvement to maintain all equipment. The factory operates Monday through to Saturday from 4.00am to 7pm each day and the maintenance team are rostered to cover the range of these days and hours Responsibilities of the Maintenance Team Member - Mechanical repairs to a wide range of equipment & processes. These will include high speed packing, automation, electro/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems and facilities maintenance are just some of the engineering elements that will be encountered - Identify and carry out preventative maintenance outside formal maintenance programs - Fully responsible for technical support requirements for production lines and their supporting processes - Use knowledge and available materials to ensure production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum - Working with other Maintenance operatives in a team roll - Setting up and changing over machines for different products - General facility maintenance Requirements - Good English - Must have a relevant trade qualification with strong, wide-ranging mechanical skills or a fitter skills, mechanical aptitude - Ability to read mechanical schematic drawings - Ability to use multi meter and troubleshoot electrical faults - Good undersanding of automation and an automated environment: comfortable with modern equipment control interfaces - Experience working in a manufacturing environment - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work within a team but also must be able to work with autonomy - Automation literate: comfortable with modern equipment control interfaces - Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative - Good team player and self-motivated - Ability to work within a team but also must be able to work with autonomy A competitive package will be offered to the right candiate.
