Key Responsibilities: Create detailed mechanical design plans, drawings, and specifications, adhering to local building codes and industry standards. Focus on designing energy-efficient HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to minimise environmental impact and operational costs. Apply your technical expertise to select and size mechanical equipment and components, ensuring they meet performance and budget requirements. Assist in project management by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring designs meet client expectations. Stay up to date with Irish building regulations and industry codes, and ensure designs are compliant with all relevant guidelines. Review and approve mechanical designs to ensure accuracy, functionality, and safety. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance on mechanical design aspects. Key Requirements: Degree inMechanical EngineeringorBuilding Services Engineering. Minimum2years experiencein the design of mechanical building services. Experience usingAutoCAD/Revit/IESin a building services environment. Strongcommunication and teamwork skills. Full, cleandriving licenceand access to own transport. The successful candidate will receive: Salary - €48,000 - €58,000 + package on offer.
