Development/Engineering Leads could be considered for this role Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in the automation space and preferably gained within the banking/financial services domain Excellent understanding of the different types of automation frameworks such as: Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Appium, and Karate Creates the automation strategy/plan for the assigned projects/programs with a special focus on ROI - Return on Investment A creative thinker that solves complex problems by proposing different types of solutions that add immediate and visible value Advanced proficiency in programming languages relevant to test automation such as Java and Python Good knowledge of databases such as MS SQL, Oracle or MongoDB. Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and Python Designing, configuring, and customising Jenkins based build reports such as HTML Publisher, Cucumber Reports, and specially Allure Reports Proficient knowledge and experience in the following tools: Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Selenium, UFT, and BrowserStack Provide technical leadership to the junior automation engineers. Creates and maintains a positive atmosphere within the team Highly motivated lead with a positive attitude. 100% delivery focused, follows the line manager's instructions, and stays away from politics Essential Qualifications There are no minimum educational requirements for this role. More about the team The Engineering & Delivery area is responsible for the build, test and implementation of key systems that serve both the our internal and external customers. As well as providing the build services the area also provides Design capability to projects alongside development and testing environments and full project testing capability.
