Todays' RCM is inherently complex due to opaque and payer-specific adjudication rules, incurring significant waste and inefficiency. Optum Insight is committed to delivering new technology and processes to improve the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflow using advances in Gen AI and other state-of-the-art technology that would ultimately benefit all stakeholders involved in the healthcare ecosystem — payers, providers, and patients.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Design, build and implement automation processes for production release of data engineering, machine learning and business intelligence processes.
2. Write code, and leverage tools, to transform data to incorporate business logic as defined in conjunction with the OptumInsight business and technology partners.
3. Design, code, test, document, and maintain high-quality and scalable Big Data solutions.
4. Analyze raw data sources, data transformation, structural requirements for new software and application.
5. Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.
6. Design conceptual and logical data model and flowcharts.
7. Define security and backup strategy for data solutions.
8. Design, build and implement real time / near real time data pipelines.
9. Design and prototype data monitoring models for pipeline.
10. Write technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:
1. Experience with data processing and SQL databases.
2. Advanced SQL experience.
3. Previous experience with Relational Databases (RDBMS) and Non - Relational Database.
4. Previous experience in implementation of ETL applications, Data warehousing/ data modelling principles, architecture and its implementation in large environments.
5. Working Knowledge on public clouds like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and developing applications on Linux environments.
6. Experience with Hadoop/Snowflake/Vertica/Redshift/Synapse.
7. Experience with Spark/Databricks in data processing and machine learning processes.
8. Experience with Airflow in implementation of data pipeline orchestrations, Airflow operators and hooks.
9. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, designing, implementing and running data applications.
10. Hands-on experience with Python (Java, Scala, useful too).
11. Experience with agile / scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Practical experience of developing solutions hosting within key major cloud providers such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
2. Experience building OLAP Cubes/Databases.
3. Experience working in data warehouse.
4. Experience with Apache Kafka.
5. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
6. Agile development methodology.
7. Experience of Kimball, Data Vault.
8. Experience of Data Build Tool.
