The team continues togrow from strength to strength working with cutting edge companies currently performing R&D in Ireland and also looking to invest in future R&D in Ireland. The Opportunity: This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join EY’s fast growing and highly successful R&D Tax practice. The team are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of a growing and dynamic National practice. This position provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to widen their technical and business skill set while working within a professional services environment and proactively contributing to building a business.

Responsibilities:
The R&D Manager / Senior Manager in EY’s business will be charged with helping clients identify, document, and support tax positions related to their R&D tax credits. The R&D Manager / Senior Manager will be a critical member of the R&D leadership team and will actively participate in the marketing and business development of the R&D practice, with an emphasis on growing the business. In addition, the R&D Manager / Senior Manager will develop and drive process improvement and team-building initiatives, maintain client relationships, and act as a source of guidance to other team members. Person:
- Master’s / PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
- Five or more years’ experience in R&D tax consulting required including working with clients and providing guidance on R&D tax credits.
- Prior experience communicating with Irish Revenue and experience of Irish Revenue R&D tax credit audits.
- Prior experience supervising tax consulting professionals and delegating work assignments as needed.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on detail.
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment.
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to promote a positive team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of junior members on the team.
