Civils Foreman

The successful Foreman will have at least 5 years’ experience working for water and utility projects in Ireland or the UK.

Ward Personnel require a Civils Foreman to manage water and utility projects in Cork City.

Your duties will include:

1. Providing advice on the management of projects
2. Organising the various professional people working on a project
3. Carrying out risk assessments
4. Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
5. Making sure the quality standards are met
6. Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
7. Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
8. Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budget
9. Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same
10. Making sure the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget
11. Ensuring an efficient construction site
12. Delivering projects with the highest quality
13. Working with the Health & Safety Department to ensure safe construction at all times

Requirements:

1. The successful Foreman will have at least 5 years’ experience working for water and utility projects in Ireland or the UK.
2. Must be able to manage a large team.
3. Ensure that the project progresses on schedule.

The salary includes €70k, an expensed vehicle, phone and laptop.
