Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety & Quality Systems aligned with regulatory and customer requirements. Lead or support HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP teams to ensure robust food safety and defence plans. Manage internal audit programs and coordinate external audits for compliance and certification. Oversee supplier approval processes, risk assessments, and performance reviews. Support new product development through specification creation, factory trials, and quality attribute sheets. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and customer complaints. Maintain accurate documentation, data control, and reporting of quality metrics and KPIs. Deliver food safety and hygiene training to enhance site culture. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement quality improvement initiatives. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or higher in Food Science or related discipline. Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment (35+ years depending on level). HACCP certification essential; auditing experience desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRC) and legislation. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
