Right now, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our residential project in Mullingar.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget as agreed by effectively and appropriately overseeing all issues surrounding risks, contracts, operations and communications
- Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of a large-scale site
- Review high-level deliverables across site
- Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology
- Manage project scope and mitigates risk across projects
- Attend Health and Safety meetings with site team and subcontractors
- Ensure that everyone on site is working in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures
- Ensure that all required materials are identified and ordered in a timely fashion in line with the program
- Take the lead in ensuring the effective management of performance and budgets, ensuring they are well-coordinated and runs in accordance with the agreed contract program
- Manage a direct labour workforce
- Manage all sub-contractors
- Work with and manage the site management team
Requirements
- Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
- Significant site management experience on residential projects
- Background in residential developments essential
- Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
- The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
