Financial Planning Consultant

What the day will look like

You will be providing tailored advice to individual clients on retirement planning, investments and all areas of Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Meeting clients / Generating Leads / Project work
2. Providing financial advice to a new and existing client base
3. Managing and continuously building relationships with the Aon client portfolio
4. Developing new business opportunities through internal and external channels
5. Achieving agreed sales targets and team-based goals
6. Adhering to standards/codes/rules set by regulators & Aon
7. Managing local projects that contribute to the overall team proposition.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

1. Previous consultative financial planning experience using Voyant as the basis of client engagements
2. Acquired or working towards Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification
3. Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
4. Strong history of delivering on agreed sales targets
5. Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements required
6. Have a background in generating leads from a Corporate client base
7. Demonstrate an ability to build strong internal relationships, trust and credibility
8. Excellent presentation and communication skills
9. Be a Team player with a focus on working as one team
10. Possess a full driver's license.
