Job Type Contract - Fixed Term Category Urgent Care Location Carrickmines, Carrickmines, Dublin City, County Dublin, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Urgent Care Physician - 9 month FTC Location : Carrickmines Would you like to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and team-focused environment? A full-time, 9 month fixed term contract position has arisen for an Urgent Care Physician working in our Carrickmines clinic. What's on offer: Competitive salary Performance related bonus Unsocial hours allowance Company pension - up to 10% employer contribution Health insurance Income protection Study leave Medical indemnity paid for by Vhi Role Purpose Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentations Minor injuries; including: sprains, fractures and wounds Facilitating referrals to specialists Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECG's Indicate any procedures done Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation Education & Experience Registered with the Irish Medical Council. Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/ emergency medicine experience. Training in emergency medicine, general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial. 6 months experience with paediatric patients is desirable. Flexibility across a 7-day roster.
