We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Psychologist to join our team in CDNT Blackberry Park, Dock Road, Limerick . Contract Type: Full Time Permanent; Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week. Salary: €91,190 - €107,186 pro rata per annum (subject to Long Service Increments); Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum.
Overview Of The Post To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young persons aged 0-18 years and their families within the Children/'s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The post holder will provide psychology services to children and families attending services on the CDNT, including assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will work across settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children/'s homes and community settings.

Essential Criteria Applicants must have a recognised university degree or diploma (QQI level 8 or equivalent) with Psychology as a major subject and honours, meeting the Psychological Society of Ireland requirements to work as a Clinical Psychologist.
Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.
Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for.
At least five years/' satisfactory postgraduate experience in professional psychology, with no more than three years spent in gaining the postgraduate professional qualification and at least two years full-time post-qualification experience; years beyond the three-year limit are not counted.
For clinical or counselling psychology qualifications: 60 days or equivalent supervised placements or post-qualification supervised work in health settings for Disability (Child and Adult), Child Psychology, or Adult Psychology as applicable.
For educational psychology qualification: 60 days or equivalent supervised placements or post-qualification supervised work in health settings for relevant areas.
Be a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland or an equivalent body (e.g., BPS).
Note: Combinations of supervised placement and post-qualification experience within a single care group area to total 60 days are not acceptable.
Desirable Criteria Experience of facilitating parent groups.
Experience of inter- or trans-disciplinary team working.
Experience with children aged birth to 18 years with a range of disabilities and their families.
Experience in assessment and intervention with children with physical disabilities and/or specific learning difficulties.
Qualification and experience in ASD diagnostic assessments.
Experience and training in formal supervision processes.
