Accounting Advisor (Internal Audit) Location IE-Cork Job ID Category Finance Position Type Regular Full-Time Overview We are looking for a motivated and eager Financial Accountant to join our vibrant and collaborative team. In this hybrid role, you'll support our finance operations while working closely with both local and global teams. Your main focus will be assisting with the monthly close cycle, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and efficient, and gaining hands-on experience with financial reporting and compliance in a fast-paced, multinational environment. Responsibilities The Accounting Consultant will be the Shared Service Center lead for confirmation of internal control compliance and reporting. Key responsibilities include: -Responsible for managing financial and IT system audit reviews of the Companys controls -Work with multiple departments to monitor and ensure adherence to documented internal control processes. -Educate the team on changes in internal control requirements that will require process adaptations -Work with teams to ensure that process changes are properly documented in the control flow -Communicate and present across all levels of staff/managers across all departments on the impact new activity has on the Companys controls. -Upon meeting all the above responsibilities, help secure the Company obtaining attestation that our controls are proper and adhered to - Additionally, complete ad hoc projects as deemed required by the finance organization and able to coordinate with multiple departments for the proper completion of such projects. Qualifications -Minimum working experience of 5+ years, preferably in an accounting firm and/or an internal control department within an organization -Heavy knowledge in various accounting practices and IT system processes -Demonstrated experience and accomplishments in working with internal/external business partners -Business controls/process improvement experience preferred -Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication -Must be a critical thinker, self-motivated, and able to constructively evaluate, review, and resolve a variety of issues that arise throughout business. -Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task & ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines What We Offer Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility to work from home or in our newly renovated office, with a schedule that fits around your personal life.
