Supermac's is currently looking for a Full-time Warehouse operative to assist with all aspects associated with a busy warehouse/distribution centre.
Job Purpose:

The company operates its central warehouse and distribution function from its Head Office in Ballybrit Business Park, Ballybrit, Galway. Here, all warehouse employees are responsible for the movement of all goods from the moment they arrive or until such times as they depart the premises. This is a summary of expected duties associated with this role, however, additional duties may be added from time to time.

- Picking orders
- Receiving goods from Suppliers
- Taking delivery of goods
- Unload the vehicles with due care and attention
- Checking goods for missing or damaged items
- Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
- Stacking goods in the correct place
- Responsibility for all documentation about the movement of goods, associated computer work
- Checking or packing goods that have to be sent out to the Restaurants
- Ensure clean as you go and that areas are kept free of debris and rubbish
- Report all damages/discrepancies to the Supervisor

THE JOB:

- Respond to the requests from the Warehouse Manager.
- Employees must abide by company standards in all aspects of employment.
- Carries out all duties diligently and has a positive impact on quality and cleanliness in the warehouse
- Must be flexible, able to work in all areas, and at short notice
- Must abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise
- Additional duties may be added or those listed above modified
- Conscious of the safety of self, other colleagues, and customers.
- Shifts scheduled Monday to Sunday, with some weekend availability required.
