This leading International Law Firm are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiasticFinancial Accountantto join their Dublin-based Finance team for a9-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of finance activities within a high-performing international environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis.
- Perform reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
- Conduct monthly review of intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidated management accounts for Irish entities.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage year-end audit engagements and corporation tax return submissions.
- Liaise with the Law Society of Ireland for the timely submission of the annual reporting accountant report.
- Ensure VAT and VIES returns are completed and submitted on time.
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects as directed by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

- 1–2 years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong academic background with solid technical accounting skills.

Skills and Attributes

- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with full MS Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Confident communicator, able to build effective working relationships across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive information.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach and desire to learn.
