INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMPETITION

Staff Grade Physiotherapist

(Permanent/Temporary, Rotational – Full Time/Part Time)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above post.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation to patients across various programmes at the National Rehabilitation Hospital. This includes rotations through different hospital programmes, aquatic physiotherapy, sports & exercise physiotherapy, respiratory, and outpatient services on a six-monthly basis.

Requirements:

- B.Sc./Masters degree in Physiotherapy approved by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
- Membership of, or eligibility for membership of, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and registration with CORU at the time of application
- Completion of core placements in rehabilitation (neurology and care of the elderly) and respiratory therapy during undergraduate training
- Experience and/or postgraduate clinical education related to any of the hospital's programmes is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
