Senior Automation Tester - C#, API, MSD 365, ERP Location: Dublin west, 2 days onsite per week Duration: 6 months with view to extend Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our client's QA function, supporting complex ERP and integration projects. This role requires a deep understanding of automated and manual testing practices, particularly within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or related ERP) environments. You will be working across multiple teams, managing test planning and execution in a fast-paced, evolving technical landscape. Responsibilities: Design, implement and execute automated and manual test cases across a variety of platforms. Establish and maintain API testing frameworks, including the testing of REST APIs. Develop and maintain automation scripts using C#. Operate effectively in BDD/ATDD environments, including service mocking and parallel test development. Conduct contract testing, real-time pricing and sync checks and validate API payloads (e.g., item SKUs vs. BC catalog). Execute end-to-end testing flows - from order simulation to fulfilment and ASN. Work closely with technical teams, senior stakeholders, and third-party vendors to align testing with business goals. Use Azure DevOps (including Test Plans) for test case management, execution, and reporting. Maintain and control source code related to test assets using Git or similar SCM tools. Drive defect management and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolutions. Support UAT coordination and engagement with business users. Optionally mentor and coordinate a small team of testers, sharing best practices and ensuring quality standards. Requirements: Strong experience in Automation & Manual Testing. Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (or related ERP systems). Solid background in API testing, including setting up frameworks and testing REST APIs.
