Compliance Technician – Hach, Cork, Ireland

Reporting to the R&D Manager, Sustaining Engineering, the Compliance Technician is responsible for assuring the compliance of Hach products to global product regulations. The successful applicant will serve as the point of contact for country sales approvals and blocks of company products, and will manage Product and Market Compliance information and documentation in the Agile PLM system.
Location and Work Arrangement
Based at the Hach/Biotector office in Cork (Ireland), this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that allows you to work at the Company location and remotely from home.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Product Compliance information in the Agile PLM system
Approve products for sale to target markets
Enter and update critical component information
Administer Environmental Compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH, POP, TSCA, etc.)
Administer Product Compliance Certificates
Enter and update SVHC information in the SCIP database
Independently collect compliance information and monitor product certifications
Independently maintain the Technical File
Enter and update label content for Typeplate and GHS
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of two years of experience working in a professional office environment
Proficiency with MS Office
Agile PLM or Oracle experience
Product Compliance knowledge (Safety, EMC, RoHS, WEEE, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and proven self-starter and team player
Capability to make tough, difficult business decisions in a fast-moving environment
Working knowledge of LEAN Principles
