Orange Recruitment are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our clients busy Plant & Equipment division. This is a fixed-term position, providing maternity leave cover. The role requires a highly organised individual who is proactive, efficient, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working closely with the Plant team to keep systems accurate, processes flowing, and compliance records up to date. Responsibilities: Managing delivery and return records for plant and equipment. Updating the internal asset management system to reflect accurate movement and usage data. Generating weekly and monthly operational reports for internal stakeholders. Handling digital filing and maintaining a structured record-keeping system. Cross-checking supplier invoices against internal forecasts and reports. Supporting general administrative tasks within the Plant department as required. Processing and recording inspection forms to ensure compliance of all vehicles and plant items. Registering new equipment in the system and coordinating asset disposals. Organising vehicle tax renewals, scheduling NCTs/CVRTs, and arranging maintenance or servicing appointments. Administering toll and fuel card allocations, reconciliations, and queries. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in a technical or operational environment. Advanced computer literacy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. High attention to detail and a natural drive to maintain accuracy and quality in your work. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams and departments. A problem-solving mindset with a positive, flexible attitude. Comfortable working independently while also contributing to team objectives. Skills: Construction Plant Administration
