Lift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team at Orange Recruitment based in Dublin.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lift Engineer to specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, escalators, and mobility solutions across commercial and residential properties.

  • Install, service, and maintain a variety of lifts, escalators, and mobility equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including reports and compliance records.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to complete projects efficiently.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in lift engineering, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience in lift installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Full, clean driver's license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
