We are seeking a talented and committed DevOps (Cloud) Engineer to help build and maintain our groundbreaking products. We use a modern technology stack and continually seek the latest and greatest to build world-class cloud-based infrastructure.

This role is in Ireland – we offer a flexible hybrid working environment but are not interested in hiring offshore, fully remote employees for this role. We are also not in a position to support Irish Visa applicants at this time.

Your Responsibilities

The job will involve:

- Setting up and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
- Creating “infrastructure as code” deployments to ensure consistency across environments
- Managing and upgrading multiple resources needed to support our application (Kubernetes, Kafka, OpenSearch, Apache Superset, SQL Databases and more)
- Continually improving our observability capabilities (we use Prometheus, Cloudwatch, Grafana and more)
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that appear

- Someone with a proven track record of delivering AWS cloud-based solutions
- Bright and enthusiastic individuals with an ability to learn quickly and a can-do attitude
- Passionate about learning new technologies and improving your skills
- Self-motivated individuals who can figure things out for themselves
- People who can work collaboratively and are willing to listen and take advice from their fellow human beings

What we are NOT looking for

- Anyone without practical, professional experience of AWS or Kubernetes
- Anyone who wants solely to manage other people doing the work
- Anyone who wants to be the architect designing our cloud-based solutions
- People who can’t learn from their mistakes (or who never make them)
