These diverse offerings include products and services that help businesses and individuals protect their assets, manage risks, and provide for retirement security.**About the role**The Sourcing Manager, Professional Services Information Technology (IT) executes on the overall category strategy and leads the sourcing process for professional services IT in partnership with IT executive leadership.**How you’ll make your mark**Reporting to the Sourcing Director, Technology, this role will provide an opportunity to drive/own all aspects of complex strategic sourcing processes in category covering IT, including but not limited to taking lead on contract negotiations of business and pricing terms and conditions, conducting research and providing benchmark data on pricing and/or other key terms and conditions, facilitating RFPs, and working with the internal business partners to develop negotiations strategies, objectives and plans. Key responsibilities include:* Establishing strong relationships with IT leadership and business stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned spend categories.* Keeping up to date with trends and best practices for professional services IT suppliers, including monitoring the supplier landscape and relevant regulatory changes impacting professional services IT category.* Building and leading an enterprise global strategic supplier and develop the professional services AIG Vendor Management strategy, program for each of assigned suppliers, and roadmap to support ongoing vendor management initiatives across AIG, including periodic executive briefings, vendor reviews, risk management, vendor compliance, performance management, issue resolution, service delivery, and cost optimization.**What you'll need to succeed**You will bring significant experience drafting, negotiating and managing supplier agreements in professional services IT category. You'll also need:* 10+ years of experience in sourcing and negotiating professional services IT agreements in a similar industry.* Bachelor’s degree focused in related area (Business, Supply Chain).* Strong issue spotting skills and ability to identify, advocate and educate stakeholders regarding different potential outcomes and suggestions to resolve those issues.* Demonstrated leadership of complex supplier contracting and strong ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Deep knowledge of best in class Sourcing, Contracting and Vendor Management processes.#LI-GW1#LI-TH1At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
