Intermediate Estimator Intermediate Estimatorrequired to join a highly reputable, modern and well set up Main Building Contractor to work from their Limerick office with hybrid working options available.The successful Estimator will be a key part of the commercial team and will report to an excellent estimating director and be given all the support and assistance required to progress and learn. Our client will consider a Junior QS with about 2 years experience who wants to move into this area. Duties: The Estimator will assist in the preparation of tenders Quantify material, plant and labour requirements for relevant projects Analyse sub-contractor quotations, checking inclusions and exclusions Negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors Issue tender queries and prepare tender reports Source and categorise pre-project information Help Create a procurement schedule for the project Prepare cost reports and detailed estimates Assist in the complete the final handover to the project team Requirements: Relevant Degree The Estimator must have 2 years+ experience working as an estimator or QS for a main building contractor Must have experience working in Ireland or the UKfor a main contractor Good communication skills and proven track record in taking tenders from pricing through to final client award Ability to work as both part of a team and on their own initiative Benefits: Salary circa €50k €55k Benefits Hybrid working after probation If you are an Estimator looking for your next career move,please send your CV or call Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
