Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Fixed Term - 12-month Contract (Adult services) Horizons is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to work in adult services for a fixed term. The successful applicant will have: good occupational therapy knowledge and skills, good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with and support interdisciplinary team with colleagues in a variety of settings. The role is varied and will include aspects of seating and positioning; environmental assessment; pressure care; supporting independent living; occupational participation and dementia care. Requirements of the post: A BSc in Occupational Therapy or its equivalent Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the disability sector would be an advantage but not essential Candidates must be registered with CORU at time of application A full clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle What we offer: Salary in line with the HSE consolidated pay scales A flexible and supportive work environment Opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on team work.
