Objective of the Role

You would join a highly motivated team who are very passionate about customer service and the fitness industry. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Deputy General Manager. This role may suit a person looking for the next step on the ladder as well as to develop their knowledge and skills in the industry.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their career.

The duties of this role include the following:

- To ensure the smooth running of the leisure centre operation.

- Ensure the best levels of customer care within the property.

- Support employees with training and development, employee engagement and any HR issues.

- To help implement and maintain the highest standard operating procedures for all service areas.

- To liaise with the General Manager regarding all operational issues.

- Recruitment and rostering of staff to business levels.

- Drive sales and role model exemplary customer service at all times.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

- Knowledge and experience of using invoice systems - definite advantage.

- At least 6 months experience as a leisure centre supervisor is essential.

- Be eligible to work in Ireland and be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

- Fully qualified and certified gym instructor.

- Fully qualified and certified lifeguard (cert in date).

- Certified in occupational first aid (cert in date) - desirable but not essential.

- Certified pool plant operator (cert in date) - desirable but not essential.

- REPS Ireland registration.
