Senior Technical Specialist - Systems Analyst (ITC)

Irish Life Health is recruiting a Senior IT Specialist to work within the Technology Solutions function of Irish Life Health which provides technology solutions through digital development and integration of third-party applications. This role provides an opportunity for the right candidate to work across a wide range of business applications as we enhance our technology capabilities across the business.
What you will help us to achieve
1. Develop and enhance our dynamic customer documents on an ongoing basis ensuring good methods of change control and communication.
2. Work as a member of project teams with business analysts and the business experts to document technical requirements for new applications.
3. Become a technical expert on all Irish Life Health applications to assist in technology enhancement and business requirements development.
4. Assist in selection of AI, robotics, and other digital technologies for Irish Life Health through research and creating comparison documentation.
5. Develop and configure solutions across a range of applications used in Irish Life Health including Genesys, Google Chat Bots, Agent assist tools, and machine learning applications.
6. Assist with strategic change and development team in determining the IT resources required to deliver Key strategic projects within Irish Life Health.
7. Assist business analysts in writing requirements that are robust and can be translated to technical requirements.
8. Ensure a common understanding and agreement of business problems or opportunities, project objectives, solutions, and benefits.
9. Translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
What you will need to be successful in the role
1. IT Degree or equivalent, or relevant business or technical experience.
2. Previous experience working with a wide range of technologies including machine learning or AI technologies is an advantage.
3. Good understanding of web application administration, web technologies, CMS systems and digital platforms.
4. Expert in detailed analysis techniques with the ability to translate into comprehensive documentation which can be understood by business users.
5. Experience engaging directly with the business on new innovative technology solutions.
6. Experience working with project management processes and agile methodology.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Self-motivated with a positive and flexible attitude.
9. Excellent team player.
10. Ability to set and work to strict project deadlines.
