Due to ongoing success, they now seek to hire a new Automation Engineer The Role An exciting opportunity for a skilled Automation Engineer to join an international engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and commission automated systems across global manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with corporate engineering standards and driving continuous improvement in production performance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and upgrade automated control systems for production lines worldwide. Commission and support automation equipment and systems at global sites. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and controls expertise to plant teams. Lead and mentor junior automation engineers on assigned projects. Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to deliver global project goals. Contribute to the development of electrical and controls standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, CE marking, and internal safety policies. The Person Degree-qualified Engineer with 3+ years' automation or controls experience. Strong PLC programming skills - ideally Siemens S7/TIA. Experience with motion control (e.g., Simotion, Sinamics) and SCADA systems (WINCC preferred). Knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet). Background in control system design, installation, and commissioning. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a global project environment. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills. Travel to other sites will be required.
