The Role

We are seeking a Part-time Childcare Practitioner to join our team on a maternity leave cover basis. This role requires someone with a passion for supporting vulnerable children and families, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and Guidance: Collaborate with lead practitioners to develop and implement programmes that respond to the needs of children and families in the service.
  • Programme Development: Create and deliver engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of preschool and school-aged children.
  • Family Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families struggling with addiction.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years working with children and families, preferably in a childcare or social work setting.
  • Qualifications: QQI Level 6 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours

This is a part-time position, requiring 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at our Dublin, Inchicore location.
