My client is a progressive Building Contractor who is currently working on numerous projects across Dublin, including nursing homes, schools, and office developments.
Due to the increase in workload, they have a vacancy for a Junior Estimator to join their team and work from their head office in North County Dublin.
Duties:

1. Preparing and collating tenders by a given deadline based on the scope of work, plans, specifications, BOQs, schedules, and inspections.
2. Generating Subcontractor and Supplier packages.
3. Sending out and following up on tender enquiries.
4. Receiving, checking, and filing tender quotations.
5. Creating, updating, and maintaining the tender register, supply chain lists, and rate/price library.

Requirements:

1. Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. 1-2 years of main contractor experience within the Irish Construction Industry.
3. Good understanding of the Irish Construction Industry.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficient in Excel and Word.
