Minimum 7 years experience in an EHS role and construction and pharmaceutical experience is essential. Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and best practice. Proven track record managing EHS on large-scale or complex industrial projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Key Duties & Responsibilities Oversee and implement all site Environmental, Health & Safety procedures in line with statutory requirements and company policies. Support the project management team in developing and maintaining a positive EHS culture across all site operations. Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring proactive hazard identification and mitigation. Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions to promote continuous improvement in EHS standards. Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions. Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure consistent EHS compliance and performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, industry best practice, and emerging EHS trends. Lead by example in fostering a culture of accountability, safety awareness, and operational excellence.
